Jackie Carmichael does not have the most recognizable name entering the 2013 NBA Draft, but be that as it may, this is a solid draft choice for whatever NBA organization makes the decision to select him. By way of Illinois State, Carmichael has molded himself into a viable NBA prospect after averaging 17.4 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this past season. Carmichael has showcased his NBA-level talent in year’s past and now that is collegiate career has come to a close, it’s time to find out where the 6-foot-9 power forward is headed next.
Carmichael was a viable double-double option at the collegiate level and he offers great size and strength at the power forward position. At this point, Carmichael is looking like a lock to hear his name called within the second round of the NBA draft and there should be no denying his ability to bolster a front court rotation in the NBA.
