The 2013 NBA Draft is approaching fast and it’s time to dive into the decision making side of things here at Rant Sports.

While the prospects remain the focus, we can’t forget about the choices that many NBA organizations will have to face. Do they address their perimeter rotation in the first round? Will they need to over-draft a prospect, just to fill a need? Or, is there just that perfect fit?

Well, let’s first start with the Eastern Conference’s Central Division. From the Indiana Pacers, who earned the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference this past season to the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers, what are the best fits and what positions do these teams need to address on that final Thursday in June?

Or, what about the Chicago Bulls who are seemingly one piece away from becoming a consistent title contender? The Milwaukee Bucks could be facing a rebuild, just like the Detroit Pistons who are already in that position.

Well, without further ado, let’s take a look at the biggest team needs for the Atlantic Division:

The Pacers need to add some depth in the back court with the 23rd overall pick. They’d love to grab a point guard, but there are no guarantees. Tim Hardaway Jr. or Tony Snell could be options if they look elsewhere.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls need a scorer in the back court or some depth in the paint – it doesn’t matter which direction they take. Gorgui Dieng or Mason Plumlee could be options inside, but a prospect like Jamaal Franklin would help the team’s back court.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are going to need help in the back court for next season. With the 15th overall pick, Milwaukee should be targeting Shane Larkin or Dennis Schroeder, if available.

Detroit Pistons

There are plenty of needs for the Pistons heading into this off-season. Detroit is hoping Trey Burke slips to them at No. 8, but if not Michael Carter-Williams or even C.J. McCollum could certainly be viable options.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The picks are aplenty of the Cavaliers in this year’s draft. They need a scoring small forward and some help inside. Nerlens Noel, Ben McLemore, Otto Porter and Alex Len are options at 1, while Sergey Karasev, Mason Plumlee or Gorgui Dieng could fit the bill at No. 19.
