I’ve heard of professional athletes bouncing in and out of marriages, but Robert Griffin III tied the knot with college sweetheart Rebecca Liddicoat less than two weeks ago and their relationship is already on the rocks.

The Washington Redskins‘ star apparently has a weakness for the waitresses over at Hooters because according to multiple media outlets, RG3 has been caught sexting with Hooters employee Meredith Barber. Hailing from Virginia, Barber is currently a student at VCU and works at Hooters as well. The details of the supposed scandal are pretty murky, yet the most important thing is that pictures of the two together have surfaced and more are apparently on the way.

However, a bit of extortion is going on and evidently Barber has a photo of Griffin’s private parts that she wants to be highly compensated for. As sad as it sounds, it’s very likely that somebody breaks the bank for this picture — the bidding for the racy image is apparently starting at $25,000.

Even the most devout Dallas Cowboys fans probably aren’t willing to shell out that much cash just to incriminate the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. I’m sure Griffin and Liddicoat especially are wishing that the questions regarding Rg3’s torn ACL take precedence over his recent unfaithfulness.

One thing is for certain: the Redskins’ quarterback should have Brett Favre on the phone as soon as possible, considering the soon-to-be Hall of Famer has a sexting scandal in his past too.
