College Football Might be Different Without Jadeveon Clowney, Teddy Bridgewater, Braxton Miller

Don’t look now, but the spotlight may finally be off Johnny Manziel…at least for a little while. A report surfaced Wednesday that the same dealer who allegedly paid Johnny Football $7,500 for autographed helmets has merchandise for sale signed by Jadeveon Clowney, Teddy Bridgewater and Braxton Miller.

The dealer linked to Manziel has autographed helmets and football listed for sale on eBay with the signatures of the three star players listed above in addition to his Manziel memorabilia collection. The story was broken by Busted Coverage, who took screen shots of the merchandise.

Now all of these players are innocent until proven guilty and there are no accusations of illegal money exchanging the hands of Clowney, Bridgewater or Miller, but the fact the same dealer linked to Manziel’s scandal has merchandise with their John Hancocks definitely doesn’t look good.

If one or more of these superstar players is suspended for any part of the upcoming college football season, their teams’ national title hopes will instantly go up in flames. The South Carolina Gamecocks, Louisville Cardinals and Ohio State Buckeyes are all legit championship contenders with their star players on the field but without them, it would be one crazy football season…and that’s with or without Manziel on the field.
