Usain Bolt’s Best is Yet to Come After Setting World Championship Record

Right after Usain Bolt won the 100-meter dash at the World Championships in eerily fashion with the apparent aid of a flash of lightning, we said he never ceases to amaze us, even when we almost forget about him. Well, it didn’t take long for his encore after he blazed his way to another track and field record at Luzhniki Stadium. The Jamaican sensation won the 200-meter dash and the 4×100-meter relay to become the most decorated athlete in world championship history.

The trio of gold medals Bolt collected gives him a total of eight to go with a pair of silvers, which puts him just ahead of Carl Lewis, who won eight golds, a silver and a bronze, and Michael Johnson, who brought home eight golds.

So now comes the unfair question on everyone’s mind: what will Bolt do next? Seriously, the man has already defied odds so many times that he should be considered the greatest of all time, even if he retired today. But even the fastest man in the world feels the same way about his future — he thinks his best is yet to come.
