Name: Brandon Myers
Team: New York Giants
Position: Tight End
Years Pro: 4
Draft stock: (Rising) Myers wound up on a ton of fantasy football teams last season, and his move to the Giants only makes him more enticing of a player. With that being said, the offensive weapons in New York are aplenty, which might make Myers a little bit of a forgotten man.
2012 fantasy impact: While the Oakland Raiders were hard to watch in 2012, their pass offense wasn’t half bad and Myers was a big reason why. Considering the Raiders were constantly coming from behind, Carson Palmer was forced to throw the ball and Myers quickly became Oakland’s top target with 806 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Best-case scenario: Eli Manning and Myers connect from the get-go and the four touchdowns that he caught in 2012 are nearly doubled this fall.
Worst-case scenario: With Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks in town, it’s extremely difficult for Myers to break through and give the Giants’ passing game the boost that it needs.
Where you should draft him: Even with a surplus of offensive weapons at MetLife Stadium, Myers build off of a great 2012 campaign and is quickly a beloved Giants target.
