Mike Tyson Claims to be “On the Verge of Dying”
For a guy who made over $300 million in his career and is still considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, to say Mike Tyson has fallen from grace is an understatement. First, the squeaky-voiced former fighter went broke after raking in all that dough during his days of dominating other boxers and biting off Evander Holyfield’s ear. And now he claims to be on the verge of dying.
Tyson said that word for word when talking about his drug and alcohol addiction, which is apparently a lot worse than anyone originally thought. But whether you love Mike, hate him or are indifferent toward him, you don’t want to see him die.
Now whether Tyson is actually on his death bed is questionable because he seems to be doing relatively well these days after losing 100 pounds and beginning a new career as a boxing promoter…and he says he’s six days’ sober!
Here’s to hoping those days turn into weeks, months and years. Get well soon, Mike.
