Most fantasy football owners forgot about Aaron Dobson after he missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury but on Thursday night, he reminded everyone why the Patriots drafted him in the second round this year.
Dobson’s first NFL catch was a 39-yard touchdown from Tom Brady, who had a rough game by his standards, throwing for only 185 yards and one touchdown. But in a sloppy win over the New York Jets, it was clear he already trusts his rookie deep threat. Dobson was targeted 10 times, which accounted for over a fourth of Brady’s pass attempts and only Julian Edelman saw more passes in the primetime AFC East showdown.
Dobson is owned in very few fantasy leagues across all platforms, so try to scoop him up if you can because once Rob Gronkowski returns, the Patriots’ passing game will get better, especially when it’s not pouring down rain in Foxborough. Grab Dobson and reap the reward. You’ll thank us later.
