Maurice Clarett Shamefully Asks Cleveland Browns For Tryout Via Twitter

Even the most devout Ohio State Buckeyes fans will tell you that Maurice Clarett is a lost cause. Clarett’s life has been a roller coaster ride to say the least and it includes; jail time, a brief rugby career and multiple failed NFL comebacks. However, that hasn’t stopped the former-Buckeyes running back from pitching his services to one of the most lowly teams in the NFL…the Cleveland Browns.

Considering the Browns just dealt Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts, Clarett figured he would shoot the Browns a tweet and let them know he was ready for a starting job:

Sure, Clarett could have just asked his agent to get in contact with the Browns, but that’s just so old school and apparently he doesn’t have one of those fancy agent people:

Instead, Clarett desperately — best word to describe this situation in full — informed the Browns of his fresh legs and apparently positive attitude. It’s going to take a lot more than that for Cleveland — or any NFL team for that matter — to give this has-been running back another shot.

However, no one in their right mind expected the Browns to trade Richardson like they did, so who knows what this strange organization will make of Clarett’s recent actions?
