Patriots In Trouble: Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola Ruled Out of Week 4
The dark clouds hovering over the New England Patriots just aren’t going away.
Although many were optimistic that Rob Gronkowski would be back for the New England Patriots‘ Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons, the team’s star tight end will not even travel to Atlanta, and has been ruled out of the contest. To make matters even worse, New England will also be without Danny Amendola, who was brought in this off-season to replace the highly-productive Wes Welker.
However, the injury-prone Amendola has only been active for one of the Patriots’ first four games. Unfortunately, Tom Brady simply can’t beat a team like the Falcons without some experienced targets to throw the ball to. Besides, Brady has hardly been his All-Pro self with constant overthrows and ill-advised passes.
On the other side of the coin, the Falcons are currently sitting at 1-2, but have more talent than the Patriots know what to do with. While Roddy White is a little banged up, he will suit up on Sunday night, which is more than you can say for Gronkowski and Amendola. Long story short; the Falcons are in prime position to send the Patriots back to New England with a loss.
