Houston Texans Must Ditch Matt Schaub, Give T.J. Yates Starting Job ASAP
It’s going to get worse before it gets better for Matt Schaub and the Houston Texans.
Houston natives started by burning Schaub’s jersey last week, yet the Texans fans might just burn down the quarterback’s house after his awful performance against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. It’s getting to a weekly thing for Schaub to throw a interception that gets returned for a touchdown as Sunday marked the fourth straight game in which Schaub threw a “pick-six.”
T.J. Yates may have looked unimpressive in his fourth-quarter stint with the Texans, but I can assure you that Yates gives Houston a much better shot at winning then Schaub or “The Walking Turnover” can. At this point; Gary Kubiak‘s job is hanging on by a thread as the Texans are way too talented to currently sit at third place in the AFC South with a 2-3 overall record.
