NFL Injury Report for Week 6
Injuries are in full force in the NFL and they will affect many reality and fantasy football teams in Week 6. Here’s everything you need to know:
EJ Manuel is still out with his LCL sprain, so the Buffalo Bills will start Thad Lewis at quarterback and as for CJ Spiller, who knows how much he’ll play if he does suit up. Don’t risk it.
Miles Austin missed Week 5 and will likely be a game-time decision in Week 6. Don’t bet on him to play and also don’t bet on another 150-yard game from Terrance Williams.
Calvin Johnson missed Week 5, but is expected to play in Week 6. You absolutely must keep tabs on his status right up until game time.
Cecil Shorts and Blaine Gabbert are both questionable for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6, but you really only need to worry about the former because he’ll produce regardless of who’s under center.
Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski are both expected to finally play again in Week 6, but you know the drill: don’t roll those dice until you’re sure they’re suiting up.
Darren McFadden is still injured and it’s likely he’ll miss Week 6 and head into the Oakland Raiders‘ bye in Week 7 to get healthy, so don’t expect him to play.
Michael Vick is out with a hamstring injury and Nick Foles actually isn’t a bad start against the woeful Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.
