Injuries To DeMarcus Ware, DeMarco Murray Open Door For Philadelphia Eagles

DeMarcus Ware has not missed an NFL game since being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2005.

However, a quad injury will force the Cowboys’ defensive end to the sidelines for at least 3-4 weeks, which means he won’t be in action for the Cowboys’ Week 7 match-up with the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition to not having its top pass rusher, Dallas will also play without running back DeMarco Murray for at least one week.

This is excellent news for the Eagles, who are currently tied with the Cowboys for the top spot in the NFC East. And as fate would have it the Eagles face the Cowboys this week in a game that many NFL fans will be watching.

Without Ware and Murray, head coach Jason Garrett will have to get creative as the Cowboys can ill afford to drop to 3-4 at this point in the season. Also, this is a measuring stick for the Cowboys as they have yet to beat a team with a winning record and play the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints in the coming weeks. The NFC East may be the worst division in football, but at least its giving us some drama early in the season.
