Rob Gronkowski’s Return Spells Doom For New York Jets, Rest Of AFC East

It took longer than most NFL fans expected, but Rob Gronkowski has received medical clearance and is expected to take the field against the New York Jets in Week 7.

Of course, this is great news for the New England Patriots as Bill Belichick‘s team has been so inefficient on offense that it’s been hard to watch. Now, Gronkowski is ready to return to the gridiron and he’s going to tear the Jets’ secondary up like you wouldn’t believe. Many forget that this tight end has caught 38 touchdowns in less than three years at the NFL.

To be honest; I really liked the Jets’ chances in this game as Geno Smith‘s appears to have matured since these two last locked horns and the Patriots’ defense has been ravaged by injury to say the least. However, the return of Gronkowki has put New York in a tough spot as the Jets’ offense is now forced to keep pace with Tom Brady and company — something that isn’t likely to happen.
