New York Jets Upend New England Patriots; Bill Belichick Outcoached By Rex Ryan

For years, I have called Rex Ryan the worst head coach in the NFL. And after he ruined Mark Sanchez‘s 2013 season — maybe career — by playing him in the fourth quarter of the third preseason game, Ryan looked like a bigger tool than ever. However, he has the New York Jets playing great football as “Gang Green” is currently one game out of first place in the AFC East.

The New England Patriots came to MetLife Stadium in Week 7 with the hopes of extending their record to 6-1. Instead, the Jets took the game to overtime and sent the  Patriots back to Foxborough with their second loss in three weeks. Sure, Bill Belichick has been known as a football mastermind for the better part of two decades, yet the soon-to-be Hall of Fame coach was outsmarted on Sunday.

It might not sound familiar, but Ryan put his team in perfect position to win this game as Geno Smith reeled in his fourth game-winning drive of the season.
