Calvin Johnson poured in the best game of his seven-year career with two touchdowns and a whooping 329 receiving yards! However, the wide receiver’s historic game actually taught us something about the Dallas Cowboys that simply can’t be denied at this point: the Cowboys are a sorry excuse for an NFL team.
That may sound a bit harsh, but any football fan knows just how disappointing Tony Romo and company have been this entire season. How does a team with Super Bowl expectations blow a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter!? Not to mention, the Cowboys forced the Detroit Lions to turn the ball over four times and still lost! Needless to say, this isn’t the type of game that Jason Garrett should put on his resume if the Cowboys decide to show him the door this off-season.
As if dropping to 4-4 wasn’t bad enough, Dallas is now forced to deal with constant questions about Dez Bryant‘s late-game tirade, which featured No. 88 screaming at Romo, Garrett and Jason Witten. It’s not a good time to be a Cowboys fan. And that’s putting it lightly.
