2013 World Series Likely To Go 7 Games After Red Sox Take Game 4

Well, the 2013 World Series has not disappointed. The Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals have battled like crazy through four games and here we are right back to square one with everything knotted up at two games apiece. To say these two teams are evenly matched would be a total understatement and for baseball fans this is like Christmas in October.

Game 4 went to the Red Sox as a huge three-run blast by Johnny Gomes was the difference. Of course, no game in this series can end without a bang and this time it was the Cardinals making a bone-headed mistake as rookie Kolten Wong showed his age and was picked off at first base to bring Game 4 to an abrupt end.

Look — this series has seven games written all over it as neither team has pulled away up to this point. And as good as this series has been; I don’t think anyone with a pulse want’s to see this Fall Classic end anytime soon.
