Fantasy Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 9

Just when it looked like we finally figured out which players were legit and which ones weren’t, we had more surprises in Week 8 that are sure to shake up fantasy football rosters across the world in Week 9. Here are some players to target on the waiver wire this week:

Marvin Jones exploded with four receiving touchdowns this week, so he’ll be the hottest name. Those scores did come in a blowout win, but Jones has been getting more and more looks from Andy Dalton, so he’s a legit flex option from here on out.

Kenny Stills is benefitting from monster games by Drew Brees, which is typical for young New Orleans Saints receivers. As long as Brees keeps throwing it all over the place, Stills is a decent pickup.

Andre Ellington bounced back in the absence of Rashard Mendenhall, so as long as the latter is out, Ellington is actually a solid backup running back in fantasy land.

Someone had to benefit from the Atlanta Falcons‘ injuries at receiver and Drew Davis has joined Harry Douglas as the new dynamic receiving duo in Atlanta. Davis hasn’t proven to be consistent yet, but in the Falcons’ offense, he won’t be short of targets.
