Fantasy Football Players to Drop Heading Into Week 9

Another week of fantasy football action really only provided unpleasant surprises. So instead of a bunch of players for you to add this week, here are a few you should drop:

Joseph Randle averaged less than two yards per carry in his third game as the starter in Dallas. He has yet to eclipse 70 rushing yards in a game and only has one touchdown despite running behind the same line as DeMarco Murray. Get rid of him.

Roy Helu had three touchdowns in Week 7, causing the Shanahanigan red flags to fly, but he went back to being nothing more than a benchwarmer in Week 8. He’s worthless in fantasy land.

Chris Ivory exploded in Week 7, which led us to believe he was the new starter for the New York Jets, but boy were we wrong! This dude disappeared in Week 8 and he should do the same for your fantasy team for the rest of the season.

Joseph Fauria had his second dud game in a row after his three-touchdown day, so if you picked him up, drop him now because he was just a flash in the pan.
