Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl Favorites at Midpoint of 2013 NFL Season

The Seattle Seahawks are simply amazing. This team has no holes and no weaknesses and the players in Seattle play together better than any other squad in the league. What other team is as well-rounded as this one with its balanced offense and stifling defense? As the Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they’ll tell you the answer is none.

The Seahawks are now 8-1 after overcoming another huge deficit to beat a team that really shouldn’t have been in the game anyway. Some folks might say that’s a sign of vulnerability, but for a team with as little star power as the Seahawks, that’s actually a great sign.

The Seahawks are winning games with Russell Wilson carrying the team at times while Marshawn Lynch picks up the slack when the passing game is struggling. Then when they need a comeback, Richard Sherman and the defense lock down anyone on the other side of the ball at the flip of a switch. To top it off, no place is tougher for opposing teams to play than CenturyLink Field, so Seattle will be tough to beat come playoff time.
