Arian Foster Ruled Out For Week 10; Ben Tate Must Answer Call For Texans

Arian Foster is out of action for the Houston Texans with a back injury, which means interim head coach Wade Phillips will look Ben Tate‘s way to carry the ball for Houston in Week 10.

Fantasy football owners are surely upset over Foster’s back woes as he’s fought hamstring issues all season long and has taken a step back to say the least. However, injury always sparks opportunity and in this case a 25-year-old running back is ready and willing to grab hold of a starting job for the first time in his career. Not to mention, Tate is also in a contract year, so he will be looking for dollar signs as soon as the regular season comes to a close.

In all reality, Tate’s tenure with Houston might be coming to a close considering he complained about his workload — or lack there of — earlier in the off-season. Therefore, this is a golden opportunity for Tate as he will be leaned upon to help Houston stifle the Arizona Cardinals, who surprisingly rank fourth in the NFL in run defense allowing just 88.2 yards per game this season.
