Oregon Takes Nosedive, Can Kiss 2014 BCS Championship Goodbye

The Oregon Ducks have worked all season and off-season for another shot at the BCS Championship Game, but the folks in Eugene will have to wait yet another season for a BCS title.

On Thursday, the Ducks were upended by a hungry Stanford Cardinal team that defended home-field advantage despite being the underdog in this matchup. Long story short; anything that could go wrong did go wrong for the Ducks. Not only did Oregon lose its BCS Title bid, Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota played so poorly that the Heisman Trophy is a distant memory for him.

Meanwhile, the Florida State Seminoles have an easy path to the 2014 BCS Championship Game as Jameis Winston and company look to give the Alabama Crimson Tide the game of the century. At the end of the day; Oregon took a total nosedive on Thursday night as the “We Want Bama” t-shirts can now be found in trashcans across the University of Oregon.
