Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 11

It seems like we say this every week, but the injury bug bit fantasy football owners hard yet again in Week 10, so now many are looking for some help with their lineups this week. Here are some sleepers for you to consider this weekend:

Ben Roethlisberger has been better lately and although he’s not a full-time starter, he has a nice matchup this week that gives him sleeper value; the Detroit Lions have given up almost 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns through the air over the past month.

Bernard Pierce isn’t the starting running back for the Baltimore Ravens, but if Ray Rice doesn’t start producing soon, that could change. Considering Baltimore is playing the Chicago Bears’ horrible run defense this week, Pierce is the ultimate sleeper for owners trying to catch lightning in a bottle.

Andre Ellington is another running back who could be useful for struggling fantasy owners this week. He may not have gotten the 20 touches he was promised in Week 10, but against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, he should put up big numbers like every other running back who’s faced the NFL‘s worst team this year.

Santonio Holmes is expected back for the New York Jets this week after missing five games with a hamstring injury. Considering the Buffalo Bills were torched by New York’s receivers in their Week 3 meeting, Holmes could be back with a bang.

Brandon Pettigrew hasn’t made much noise this year, but he was a major factor for the Lions’ offense in last week’s win over the Bears. Against a squishy Pittsburgh Steelers defense this week, Pettigrew is primed for a big day.
