Fantasy Football Start’em, Sit’em for Week 11

Week 11 of the fantasy football season is right around the corner, so it’s time for another edition of Start’em and Sit’em. There are lots of surprises this week, so hold on tight.

Matt Ryan has been awful in recent weeks, but his matchup against the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers makes him a nice option this week; Tampa Bay has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks over the past month. Tom Brady has been on the uptick lately, but you should sit him this week because the Carolina Panthers have been harder on opposing passers than any other team this year.

Danny Woodhead has been red hot lately and that high level of production should continue this week against the Miami Dolphins’ horrific run defense, so start him with confidence. Mark Ingram is a hot pickup off the waiver wire this week, but the former Heisman Trophy winner won’t do anything against the San Francisco 49ers’ brick wall of a front seven, so put him on the bench.

Riley Cooper is another player who has been terrific as of late and you should count on more points from him this week against the Washington Redskins’ terrible secondary. What you shouldn’t expect is a bounce back game from Roddy White, who will be blanketed by Darrelle Revis this week. Don’t even think about starting him.

Jordan Reed is no longer a sleeper and he’ll show why again this week against the Philadelphia Eagles as Robert Griffin III’s favorite target. However, Greg Olsen is a bad start this week because the New England Patriots have allowed the fifth-fewest points to opposing tight ends over the past four weeks.

The Arizona Cardinals’ defense has been serviceable this year, but Week 11 presents an opportunity for this unit to shine against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars, start so the red birds with confidence. The defense you should sit is the Baltimore Ravens, who haven’t been good this year and face a Chicago Bears offense that’s been on fire lately.

And for kickers, you can search the web for some lame site with terrible advice because we don’t do that here. Good luck in Week 11!
