Timberwolves Flatten Nets; Brooklyn Falls To 3-9, Should Be Embarrassed

The NBA‘s regular season isn’t even a month old, but one team has been so bad that the “panic button” is already being slammed by New York natives in particular.

After trading for stars such as Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry in the offseason, the Brooklyn Nets were easily one of the eastern conference’s top teams…on paper. Unfortunately for the Nets, basketball is played on hardwood — not paper.

In case you didn’t see the absolute bloodbath; the Nets were absolutely flattened by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday by a final score of 111-81. In fact, this embarrassing contest even saw the T-Wolves take a 33-point lead over Jason Kidd‘s sorry bunch at one point. After another painful loss, the Nets now sit in the cellar of the Atlantic division with an embarrassing 3-9 record on the season. The Nets are the most disappointing team in the NBA and it’s not even close.

So, if you’re looking for a good laugh tune into the Nets because this Brooklyn team is nothing but a complete joke.
