Alabama Right to Fire Asst. Strength and Conditioning Coach Corey Harris

Well it looks like Nick Saban knows how to squash a scandal before it gets started; as he and the Alabama Crimson Tide fired assistant strength and conditioning coach Corey Harris for giving a loan to hilariously named safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

Harris was suspended indefinitely by the Alabama administration in October after word spread that he provided a loan to junior player Clinton-Dix, who received a two game suspension himself.  Allegedly, Ha Ha received a loan of no more than $500 from Harris after his car was broken into back in June.

Alabama has wasted no time in scrubbing Harris’ name from the Crimson Tide website and the university confirmed that he is no longer part of the school’s faculty.

This was a smart move by the college football powerhouse as Saban’s Tide are going for a third straight national title and can ill afford any ongoing distractions or possible NCAA infractions going forward.

Similar to surviving a zombie attack, Saban made the right decision by severing the infected limb in order to preserve the rest of the team and move forward in his pursuit of collegiate football immortality.
