Awesome Bat Dog Begins Training for New York Yankees’ AA Affiliate

While we all sit around wishing our pets could fetch us things such as the remote or a cold beverage, the Trenton Thunder are preparing Rookie to fetch their bats this season. The New York Yankees‘ AA affiliate have a tradition of Golden Retrievers as bat dogs dating back 10 years to Rookie’s grandfather. Assuming he can get it down — which it appears he still has some work to do — Rookie will be getting plenty of awwws this season from the Trenton faithful.
