Man, just imagine having to go back to work the next day after this one.

This is about the most cruel thing you will see today.
Wilmer Flores, member of the New York Mets, just so happened to be playing in a game. So far, so good. Out of nowhere, he learned that the Mets had traded him (thanks a lot, MLB trade season). The kicker: New York left him in the game. Ouch. Cruel. This is just wrong.

Needless to say, Flores was not entertained — he cried on TV — and I don’t blame him one bit.
This mid-game nightmare had quite the twist, though. After all, the trade didn’t actually go down. Try to go to work the next day after that one.
Sandy Alderson, #Mets GM, to NY reporters on the Gomez trade: “The trade has not and will not happen.”
