Terrell Owens a Redskin
Oh the irony of ironies. Could you imagine it? Donovan McNabb throwing to Terrell Owens once again. Well actually it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. McNabb and TO did team up last month, for a tv show. McNabb, Owens and Charger TE Antonio Gates filmed a segment for Spiketv’s show Pro’s vs. Joes.
The Redskins need help. Donovan needs some receivers. Owens needs a job.
Last year with the Bills, Owens, 36, posted decent numbers. 55 receptions, 829 yards and 5 touchdowns and that was on a poor team without much at the quarterback position. Buffalo used the dartboard technique last year to select their starting quarterback as Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brian Brohm all took turns at being equally bad.
Owens’ numbers last year would have made him the second leading receiver on the Redskins roster behind Santana Moss. TO has chilled a bit from the last time these two were teammates and he must realize that the league is not beating down his door for his services. Redskins GM Bruce Allen loves older players. (see Larry Johnson and Willie Parker along with Allen’s tenure in Tampa Bay)
Then again, we all remember this:
TO and McNabb together again. Playing the Eagles and Cowboys twice a year. Oh wouldn’t that be great. Better get your popcorn ready.

Why don’t they just shoot the (Redskins) fans in the head and be done with it – because if they sign T.O. that cancer will kill us anyway.
ive have stuck with the skins my hole life and the last 20 years have had nothing to cheer for. in saying that if they sign t.o thats the straw that broke the camels back i would rather keep lossing rather than winning a superbowl if t.o is there!
