Fantasy football aficionados are currently gearing up for a summer laden with endless draft debate. Like every other year, a number of NFL players will be heavily underrated during draft season and go on to have impressive campaigns. Here’s a look at five players who fall into that category at wide receiver in 2016.
5. Michael Thomas - New Orleans Saints

Michael Thomas landed in a perfect spot with the New Orleans Saints, and projects to be heavily utilized in their pass-happy offense led by future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Don't shy away from rolling the dice on the rookie.
4. Markus Wheaton - Pittsburgh Steelers

With Martavis Bryant suspended for the entire 2016 campaign, it's put up or shut up time for Markus Wheaton. He did not do a terrible job last season (749 yards, five TDs), but still isn't trusted in the fantasy community, and will be a steal late.
3. Allen Hurns - Jacksonville Jaguars

Allen Hurns finished 2015 with 1,031 yards and 10 TDs, yet was only ranked as the WR32 by ESPN's Matthew Berry last week. Expect Blake Bortles to utilize Hurns in a similar manner in 2016.
2. Marvin Jones - Detroit Lions

After missing the entire 2014 campaign, Marvin Jones bounced back with 816 yards and four TDs last season for Cincinnati. Without Calvin Johnson in the mix in Detroit, Jones is going to be targeted well over 100 times, and has 10-TD potential.
1. Tavon Austin - Los Angeles Rams

Austin finally came through in fantasy last season, tallying 907 total yards and 10 total TDs (five receiving, four rushing, one special teams). Jared Goff doesn't have many weapons in Los Angeles, so Austin will be heavily involved again in 2016.
