With the 2015 MLB spring training nearly in full swing, it means Opening Day is that much closer. Even though there is plenty to accomplish in spring training, looking ahead to the regular season is what many fans are interested. With that in mind, here is every MLB team’s biggest burning question as the 2015 season approaches.
How much of the Arizona Diamondbacks’ success rest on Cuban slugger Yasmany Tomas’ ability to play third base at a high level?
Does Nick Markakis have what it takes to give the Atlanta Braves a much-needed boost on offense?
Do Chris Davis and Manny Machado have what it takes to bounce back and give the Baltimore Orioles the necessary offensive production to make a serious run in the AL East?
Can the Boston Red Sox trade stellar prospects and/or proven ball players for an ace they desperately need?
Is 2015 the year the Chicago Cubs finally break out of their slump and give the rest of the NL Central something to worry about?
Will the countless offseason acquisitions make any difference in the Chicago White Sox’s chances of clinching a playoff berth?
Will a starting rotation loaded with pitchers in contract years be enough for the Cincinnati Reds to overcome the Cardinals, Pirates, Brewers, and Cubs in the NL Central?
Does the Cleveland Indians’ impressive pitching staff have what it takes to continue being impressive and lead the team to an AL Central title?
Will the return of the injured Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez be enough to give the Colorado Rockies hope?
How greatly will the loss of pitchers Max Scherzer and Rick Porcello affect the Detroit Tigers’ chances of making noise in the playoffs?
Will the young roster of the Houston Astros begin to show its potential of becoming a legitimate up and coming team?
Will the Kansas City Royals repeat their 2014 success, especially with James Shields no longer leading the starting rotation?
Will Josh Hamilton have enough in the tank to help the Los Angeles Angels recreate their stellar run production from last season?
Will Jimmy Rollins and Howie Kendrick develop the necessary chemistry to become the best middle-infielder tandem in baseball?
Will Giancarlo Stanton’s monstrous contract prove to be the right move by the Miami Marlins, especially with playoff hopes on the horizon in 2015?
Will the Milwaukee Brewers be able to compete in the NL Central after having a ridiculously quiet offseason?
How long will it take for Byron Buxton, MLB’s top prospect, to be given the chance to shine in the majors?
Will the New York Mets’ starting rotation be enough to overcome other obvious flaws on the roster?
How much hate can Alex Rodriguez stir up before Opening Day?
Will the revamped roster give the Oakland Athletics the improvements they need to take their game to the next level, or will messing with chemistry be the downfall of an organization on the cusp of greatness?
How long will it take for the Philadelphia Phillies to trade Jonathan Papelbon, Cliff Lee, and any other pitcher they deem fit?
Will Corey Hart return to his productive self and give the Pittsburgh Pirates the burst they need win the NL Central?
Will the offseason additions give the San Diego Padres enough to give the Dodgers and Giants something to worry about?
Do the San Francisco Giants have what it takes to continue the dynasty?
Does the Seattle Mariners have enough personnel to support Kyle Seager and Robinson Cano on offense?
Have the St. Louis Cardinals done enough in the offseason to ensure their dominance as king of the NL Central?
Can newly hired Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash make the right moves right out of the gate to allow his team to become the quiet favorites to win the AL East?
Will Prince Fielder find his powerful swing and stay healthy enough to give the Texas Rangers hope?
Can starting pitcher Marcus Stroman handle the pressure of his sophomore season and throw his hat in the race for the AL Cy Young Award?
Will the enhanced starting rotation be enough for the Washington Nationals to finally reach the World Series?
