Guys in MLB have the ability to fool hitters on a regular basis with off-speed pitches and incredible late movement at the plate, but rarely do they get players ducking for cover.
Embarrassingly enough, the San Francisco Giants‘ Hunter Pence hit the dirt when this curveball was delivered by New York Mets right-hander Seth Lugo.

It’s okay to be extra cautious with the head-hunting that’s done in baseball these days, but this pitch was nearly over the plate for a strike.
Not the best eye there, Hunter.
