The Washington Wizards had a tough year, failing to make the postseason despite a talented young core. They will look to sign their young shooting guard to a long-term deal, but have other options as well due to their cap space. It may be difficult for them to convince a hometown star to sign; however, considering he is one of the best players in the game, it is still worth a shot.

Deng would give the team a veteran at small forward who is capable of playing in small lineups. He works hard and could help mentor the younger players.
4. Allen Crabbe

4. Allen Crabbe
Crabbe would be a great fit next to John Wall and Bradley Beal, as he is athletic, young, and can stretch the floor. He played well last postseason, and likely has a big payday ahead of him.
3. Joakim Noah

3. Joakim Noah
Noah would add toughness to the front court, and give them a player willing to do the dirty work in order to win. His ability to guard multiple positions gives the team more versatility in their rotations.
2. Bradley Beal

2. Bradley Beal
Beal has struggled with injuries, but he is one of better shooting guards when healthy. He can shoot from anywhere, and has the potential to develop into a star.

Landing Durant will be difficult, especially since they might not have enough cap space if they commit money to other players. However, he would be a great fit and would help make this team a contender.
