Arguably the most exciting mid-major conference in college basketball, the Atlantic-10 continues to rise in parity year after year. Several top freshmen players are on their way in and will likely stay in college for all four years. Here are five A-10 freshmen to keep an eye on heading into the 2016-17 season.
5. Nick Sherod, SG – Richmond

Born in Richmond, Sherod could become a fan favorite pretty quickly.
4. Kevin Marfo, C – George Washington

The George Washington Colonials are fantastic at turning good players into a great team, and Marfo should fit in perfectly.
3. Trey Landers, SG – Dayton

While it may be a year or so before we see Landers featured in a prominent role, he is the type of shooter who could become one of the best in the conference.
2. DeJon Jarreau, SG – UMass

After a quiet season, UMass is beginning to rebuild. Jarreau should see some time on the court as a freshman—expect big things.
1. De’Riante Jenkins, SF – VCU

Will Wade has been fantastic in his short time at VCU, and Jenkins will be everything he wants and more for his style of basketball.
