The Big Ten didn't do too bad this season. After all, the Michigan State Spartans will partake in the College Football Playoff. Plus, the Iowa Hawkeyes and Ohio State Buckeyes are New Year's Six bound.
Before Big Ten teams try to make this conference proud, let's check out 10 bold predictions. Bowl season style.
10. Nebraska Goes Down By At Least Two Scores In The Foster Farms Bowl

Nebraska was just 5-7 on the season, and it will be going up against a very capable 8-4 UCLA team — which means things could get ugly in a hurry.
9. Wisconsin Doesn’t Even Crack 20 Points Against USC In Holiday Bowl

It's not like USC has the best defense in college football. Wisconsin certainly doesn't bring the best offense to the table. Take both of those things as you will.
If Cody Kessler and the rest of the Trojans get a ton of field time, then this one could come true with ease.
8. Big Ten Losing Trend Continues: Tennessee Takes Care Of Northwestern In The Outback Bowl

We aren't picking on the Big Ten here. We are just calling the games how we see them ... with a little bold spice.
Although Northwestern has had a great season up until this point, Tennessee has managed to go way under the radar. Just remember, the Volunteers bring a five-game winning streak with them to bowl season.
7. For Once, Christian McCaffrey Is Limited Against Iowa

The bold meter is turned up a notch or two for this one, but Iowa is the real deal, folks. The Hawkeyes' one loss only came by three points against Michigan State, a team that will partake in the playoff.
Why this is so bold: McCaffrey has been a machine in 2015.
6. As A Result, The Hawkeyes Pull Off The “Upset”

Iowa is a one-loss team and almost made the playoff, yet Stanford is getting the line. When will the Hawkeyes get the credit they deserve? Maybe a win over the Cardinal would do the trick?
5. Christian Hackenberg Goes Out On Top

Christian Hackenberg did not contend for the Heisman and Penn State did not compete for a spot in the playoff. All of that aside, the Nittany Lions will take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the Taxslayer Bowl.
Hackenberg has to have one monster performance on the big stage — doesn't he?
4. First Team To 17 Wins Battle Between Michigan And Florida

After all, two elite defenses will be playing each other. Therefore, a low-scoring affair could be the name of the game.
3. The Buckeyes Blow Out Notre Dame

Don't think Ohio State is going to be happy about missing out on the College Football Playoff. Notre Dame is a very worthy opponent, but the Buckeyes are arguably the most talented team in the country on both sides of the ball.
Also, remember what they did against Michigan last game?
Side note: Ohio State won by the score of 42-13 on the road.

Last year, Ohio State upset Alabama in the playoff. Michigan State, of course, plays another Alabama squad in this year's playoff.
The Crimson Tide are pretty unstoppable right now, and they also have the Heisman winner on their team.
Translation: Good luck to any team that crosses Alabama's playoff path.
