Snoop Dogg has a strong interest in football, and of course in the concept of money, so it’s not shocking he has now taken part in a melding of the two in some form. The hip-hop icon has partnered with Adidas to create the Adizero 5-Star 5.0 football cleat, and they are everything we would expect from something Snoop Dogg had a had in.

Retail price for a pair is $120, so football players buying them better have their “mind on their money” and be ready to back up the message the cleats will send to opposing players. Snoop’s son recently returned to UCLA‘s football team, so it’s worth wondering if Cordell Broadus or his some of his Bruins teammates will be wearing these flashy cleats at some point in the future. That would surely be a violation of some sort of NCAA rule though, unless the school had an endorsement deal with Adidas for outfitting its athletes.
