There are plenty of reasons why the Green Bay Packers will not win Super Bowl 50, but these are the five most glaring.

5. Eddie Lacy's Regression

After looking like he had a chance to become the NFL's premier running back during his first two campaigns, Eddie Lacy has taken a 'large' step backward this season. Lacy's had a few big games, but he can't be counted when it matters the most, especially not in the playoffs.
4. They Have To Win Three Road Games To Get To Super Bowl

Green Bay has been decent on the road this season (5-3), but the only team they beat with a winning record is Minnesota. The Packers played three other teams that made the playoffs on the road during the regular season and lost all three -- Denver (Week 8), Carolina (Week 9) and Arizona (Week 16). The Packers deserve credit for making the postseason, but it should be clear to the masses by now that they're simply not capable of winning the Super Bowl.
3. Aaron Rodgers Can't Do It All By Himself
![Aaron Rodgers Can't Do It All By Himself](/nfl/files/2016/01/packersboldscropped.jpg)
Eddie Lacy's struggles have hurt Aaron Rodgers this season. Rodgers has never been a quarterback who tallies an incredible amount of passing yards, but he has always been efficient when it matters the most on an opponent's side of the field. Without help from the running game to get there, the Packers are stalling on drives at an alarming rate thus far, and this trend projects to continue into the playoffs.
2. Defense Is Decent, But Not Great
![Defense Is Decent, But Not Great](/nfl/files/2015/01/Clay-Matthews-Green-Bay-Packers-2015-NFC-Championship.jpg)
Green Bay's defense as a whole has been decent this season, but it's nothing to write home about and has spit the bit in big spots. The Packers have given up an alarming 13 rushing touchdowns this season, which is a trend that can't be overcome in the playoffs.
1. Receiving Corps Too Inconsistent Without Jordy Nelson

Losing Jordy Nelson during the preseason turned out to be incredibly difficult for Green Bay's offense to overcome. Randall Cobb was expected to shine, but he's been average at best. Davante Adams was expected to blossom into an elite No. 2 wide receiver, but injuries and plain ineffectiveness have hindered his campaign. James Jones is a solid veteran, but he cooled off after a hot start. The unit is simply not capable of winning four straight games outside of Lambeau Field against elite competition.
