The workouts of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison are the stuff of legend at this point, but that doesn’t mean the fresh 39-year-old doesn’t still put the work in.
In fact, that’s how he spent his last birthday before turning 40 – at the gym.
@jhharrison92 turns 39 years old today! And his workouts are still downright ridiculous. 😱💪
But this workout with the musical montage was just child’s play.
Here’s what he posted a few days earlier.
@vinnywill98 Hey whippersnapper, this is for you. Just in case you wanted to catch up🏋🏾 31 plate! I’m 39 Thursday so I may do 39 to celebrate this year!! @maurkicepouncey @theramonfoster @mikepouncey #oldmanstrength

To explain, the “31 plate” reference is to 31 weights each weighing 45 pounds on the sled.
In weights alone, that math works out to 1,395 pounds – and that’s not counting the sled itself!
Strongest man in the NFL.
