The Washington Capitals played the Minnesota Wild in a matchup of two of the top teams in the NHL on Tuesday night.
During the first period, Capitals’ enforcer Tom Wilson caught Minnesota’s Zach Parise with a high stick that resulted in a four-minute penalty.
Upon Wilson’s return to the ice, the Wild’s Chris Stewart found him almost immediately and ended up bloodying the Capitals’ tough guy up.
