In a few weeks, USC quarterback Matt Barkley will find out which team he’ll begin his NFL career with as the 2013 NFL Draft is right around the corner and the Trojans star is expected to be one of the top quarterbacks from this year’s class. While this may seem like the highlight of Barkley’s month, it appears he has another big event to prepare for as well–a wedding.
Apparently, Barkley is officially engaged to girlfriend Brittany Langdon as the couple is scheduled to get married on July 6, 2013–which is right around the corner as summer is just a few months away. What’s even more crazy is the couple has appeared to been engaged for quite some time now–they just managed to keep it on the down low for quite some time.

Either way, this is exciting news for the happy couple as they have a busy next couple of months ahead. Barkley already had a lot on his plate while preparing for the upcoming draft and scheduling visits with teams, but it looks like he has to deal with a wedding on top of all that now.
Either way, it’s safe to say Barkley will be having one of the most exciting years of any rookie in this year’s draft class considering not many players can say they were drafted and got married within a few months of each other. Congratulations to the happy couple and it will be interesting to see where their new home ends up being in a few months from now once they find out where Barkley will be playing next season.
