When it comes to the most entertaining sportscasters, it’s safe to say ESPN’s Charissa Thompson is one of the best as she’s never afraid to go all out and put everything on the line–even if it means taking one for the team. With Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan recently on the show, Thompson decided to have some fun by reenacting arguably the most popular and insane dunk from the 2012-13 regular season.

For those of you that recall, Jordan posterized Brandon Knight back in March when the Clippers were taking on the Detroit Pistons and when watching the dunk–it’s difficult not to watch it again on repeat. It’s one thing to watch a sick dunk during a game, but to see a player throw down such a dunk with so much power like Jordan did against Knight was nothing short of ridiculous.

As you can see in the video above, Thompson and the gang thought it would be funny to get Jordan to reenact the dunk–with the only difference being Thompson would be playing the role of Knight. And instead of playing on an actual basketball court, the crew decided to use a small ball on a trashcan instead.

It may not be as close to the real thing, but Thompson once again took one for the team by pretending to take the fall as the victim to Jordan’s dunk. Props to Thompson as she showed us yet again why she’s one of the most entertaining sportscasters in the industry for performing a skit like this one.
