Floyd Mayweather Reportedly Bets $5.9 Million on Miami Heat in Game 7 of Eastern Conference Finals
To some, he’s known as Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Well, he’s expected to earn approximately $90 million this year alone, so the nickname comes with good reason. With that being said, he’s also not afraid to throw some of that money around and on Monday night, he’s putting a good chunk of it on the line in Vegas.
Mayweather has reportedly bet $5.9 million on the Miami Heat line for tonight. According to the tweet below, he made the bet when the line was -7 (it has since adjusted).
**ALERT** Good source from my #HeavyHitters Vegas crew alerted me that Floyd Mayweather has laid over $5,900,000 on Heat -7 tonight in Vegas

So not only does Mayweather expect the Heat to win Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but he expects them to do so in comfortable fashion. Seven points might not seem like a lot, but it’s a good 2-3 possessions in a basketball game. This series with the Indiana Pacers has been all about toughness and it’s been closely contested to say the least — I mean, isn’t that why these two teams are even in a Game 7?
Tip-off for Monday night’s Game 7 showdown is set for 8:30pm (EST), as the Heat look to put aside the media-driven hype surrounding LeBron James and his seemingly “one man show” over the past few games. Miami needs to put together a team effort in Game 7 on Monday night or the rugged Pacers can take this series.
