J.R. Smith’s Little Brother Gets Tattoo Of J.R. On His Back

J.R. Smith

J.R. Smith has a ton of tattoos. In fact, his arms and neck are full of them — the guy is addicted to ink. While he’s loves tattoos, it seems like he loves getting into trouble as well as he was recently suspended indefinitely for violating the league’s substance abuse rule.

Although Smith is seemingly always in trouble, he still has some loving fans. Some fans happen to be family and some family happen to be too in love. His younger brother, Chris Smith, took the term ‘brotherly love’ to an entirely new level by getting J.R.’s face tattooed onto his back. Yes, for once, a story about J.R. Smith and tattoos doesn’t involve him adding yet another one to his growing collection.

As you can see, Chris Smith loves his brother. I’m not sure that I know too many people that love their sibling so much as to get their face tattooed on any part of their body. Smith is the younger brother of the New York Knicks‘ star shooting guard.

If people in New York loved J.R. as much as his brother does, it wouldn’t be so weird to see this tattoo. Well, okay, I lied. It’s very weird to see this no matter what.

The brothers were teammates last year for a couple months before Chris got injured and was waived by the Knicks. He was invited to join their summer league squad this summer and it will be interesting to see if the two will be reunited soon.

The tattoo says “Always got my Back”. What a tribute on J.R.’s birthday.
