Even though they’ve lost their first two games of the regular season while scoring just 16 points combined, the Cleveland Browns have been making headlines on Wednesday after the news broke that Brian Hoyer would be starting for the team on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings over Jason Campbell. Normally, Brandon Weeden would be calling the shots under center, but the former first-round pick will be sidelined while dealing with a thumb injury.

And of course, a new quarterback under center for the Browns can mean only one thing–it was time for an update on the famous Browns quarterback jersey.

For those of you that remember, one Cleveland fan has kept a popular photo over the years of herself in a Tim Couch (one of the top busts of all time) jersey with all of the names of Browns quarterbacks from over the years. As bad as it sounds, it’s been no secret the Browns have struggled when it comes to finding a reliable quarterback to build the franchise around and with Hoyer starting against the Vikings on Sunday–the jersey now has 18 names.

When considering the fact that Couch was drafted before the 1999 season–18 different quarterbacks over that span is difficult for Cleveland fans to take in and it’s no wonder why there’s been so much frustration towards the organization. Who knows, maybe if things fail to work out with Hoyer and Weeden’s thumb continues to be an issue–Campbell’s name may be added over the next couple of weeks.

For now though–a big congrats to Hoyer for making the famous jersey!
