Just a few days after he was benched, Josh Freeman‘s picture is set to be featured on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ ticket for this Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. The fifth-year quarterback has regressed in seemingly every season besides his first couple in the league and second-year head coach Greg Schiano has been taking notice.

The Bucs drafted a quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft in Mike Glennon and he looks to be the future of the organization — for now. Glennon is a rookie quarterback with a ton of untapped potential that Schiano believes will lead this team to a solid remainder of the regular season. Starting the season 0-3 doesn’t help the rookie in terms of digging the Bucs out of a hole, but it did show him what not to do.

Even though Schiano recited multiple times, dating back to last season, that Freeman would be his starter for the foreseeable future, he decided to break the news on Wednesday morning that the struggling quarterback would be shown the bench.

It was probably tough for the quarterback to take — as it has been widely publicized that he lost his captainship prior to the season and missed the team’s photo day. He now apparently wants to be traded, according to several reports.

However, he does have one thing he can look forward to this weekend:

Well the perks to getting shown to the end of the bench are simple: you get your picture planted on every ticket entering the game.

It’s almost like he is playing.
