15. Marco Reus

FIFA 14
Marco Reus Facebook

Marco Reus is one of the best talents in all of FIFA 14, as his ratings of 91 for pace, 86 shooting, 80 passing and 86 dribbling begin to show. Reus combines this with very good work rates both offensively and defensively to become extremely dangerous for Borussia Dortmund and Germany in FIFA 14.

14. Eden Hazard

FIFA 14
Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

While the creators of FIFA 14 only gave Eden Hazard an overall rating of 85, his combination of great attributes overrides this fault. After being given four stars on his foot and skill moves and an 87 rating for pace, 83 passing and 88 shooting, it is clear that Hazard is one of the most skilled players in the game. At the age of 22, he is a great candidate for a transfer to use in Manager mode or to use in a single game for Chelsea and Belgium.

Much like he has shown in the opening weeks of the 2013-14 Barclay's Premier League season, Mesut Ozil can find time and space with the best attacking midfielders in the world. Ozil uses this uncanny ability to dribble and pass the ball to make up for the fact that he is not especially fast, and is a true difference-maker for Arsenal and Germany in FIFA 14.

12. Philipp Lahm

FIFA 14
Philipp Lahm Facebook

Despite being barely above average in nearly every statistical category, Philipp Lahm finds a way to be the best fullback in FIFA 14. The Germany and Bayern Munich captain is able to make up for a skill set that does not blow his competition out of the water because his work rate is impeccable.

11. Sergio Aguero

FIFA 14
Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

Sergio Aguero is a deadly striker in FIFA 14, as he combines a rating of 88 for pace, 84 shooting, and 90 dribbling to both find his own shots and convert them when teammates find him. While he is somewhat lazy on defense, this can be let go for anyone that scores bucket loads of goals when using him with Manchester City and Argentina.

10. David Silva

FIFA 14
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

David Silva continues to be the effective and pesky attacking midfielder that we have come to know and love in FIFA 14. Silva combines silky dribbling with heads-up passing, moderate pace and a dangerous shot to make life miserable for teams going up against Spain and Manchester City.

9. Thiago Silva

FIFA 14
Thiago Silva Facebook

In terms of defensive players, there is none better in FIFA 14 then Thiago Silva. The PSG and Brazil center back has the mobility to mark nearly any forward, has a great touch on the ball and is great on corners and set pieces. Simply put, Silva's 87 rating does not give justice his ability in all facets of FIFA 14.

8. Andres Iniesta

FIFA 14
Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Andres Iniesta is the man who makes the engine run for Spain and Barcelona in FIFA 14, as his midfield mate Xavi Hernandez is beginning to slow down a tad. Iniesta surely makes up for this with his smart and effective passing ability and potential to dribble past any defender in the game.

7. Robin van Persie

FIFA 14
Witters Sport-USA TODAY Sports

Much like in real life, Robin van Persie is liable to score or create goals for his teammates from anywhere on the field in FIFA 14. With an rating of 82 for passing, 84 dribbling, 89 shooting and 89 overall, it is clear playing against Manchester United and the Netherlands will make you play a more defensive game in FIFA 14.

6. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

FIFA 14
Zlatan Ibrahimovic Facebook

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a beast both in the air and with the ball at his feet in FIFA 14, making the PSG and Sweden striker a horror to play against. And luckily for FIFA players, you will not have to deal with his temper tantrums nearly as much in the video game as in real life.

5. Gareth Bale

FIFA 14

While Gareth Bale is only given a rating of 87 in FIFA 14, his attributes far outweigh this number. Bale has a deadly combination of electrifying pace, a deadly shot from range, the ability to pick out a pass, and a dribbling ability to make him one of the most promising players in the game. At the ripe age of 24, he is arguably the no. 1 player to sign in Manager Mode, but is also a deadly threat in single game play for Wales and Real Madrid.

4. Franck Ribery

FIFA 14
Witters Sport-USA TODAY Sports

The creators of FIFA 14 recognize Franck Ribery for his exquisite ability as an out-and-out winger, giving him a pace of 91, dribbling ability of 93 and five stars on skill moves. Ribery may not come back and play defense, but with his attacking prowess, it is likely that only time he will be running back downfield in FIFA 14 after scoring goals for Bayern Munich and France.

3. Falcao

FIFA 14
Image Coutesy of @FALCAO

Falcao will not run by many defenders in FIFA 14, but the AS Monaco and Colombia striker will work extremely hard and be in the right positions to score goals at all times. The game recognizes that Falcao can do this with either foot, and is currently the best pure striker in the world.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo

FIFA 14
Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

Just like in real life, the video game version of Cristiano Ronaldo is the undoubted no. 2 player in the world, with his 92 overall ranking standing two points behind that of Lionel Messi. Ronaldo is a brute of a player, and uses his mix of size, strength, pace, dribbling and shooting range to make it nearly impossible to win against Real Madrid and Portugal in FIFA 14.

1. Lionel Messi

FIFA 14
Presse Sports-USA TODAY Sports

Much like in real life, Lionel Messi is a terror to face on FIFA 14 because of his mix of pace, dribbling ability and passing acumen. Suffice to say, facing the Barcelona and Argentina center forward is as much of a nightmare on XBOX as it is in real life, as his 94 overall rating on FIFA 14 points out.
