The Oakland Athletics are in the midst of a tough playoff battle with the Detroit Tigers, so emotions are no doubt running high for players and fans. However, one fan in particular was a bit wound up this past weekend. Few details have emerged on who this guy is or what his deal was, but there’s no question that he was fired up. Check out the angriest fan in Oakland right now:

It’s not often that you hope someone is intoxicated, but in this case, I hope he was loaded. That’s really the only thing that could explain his bizarre behavior. Seriously, his team is in the playoffs and doing well, what’s there to be made about?

When it comes to the actual scrum, you have to give this lunatic some credit for not going down easily. I suppose if you’re going to act like a fool, you might as well go down swinging. This gray-haired gentleman did just that. It took two cops, three security guards and a taser to get the job done. I’m not sure what cops are trained to do in these situations but nothing really got done until the third security guard jumped in. I felt like the stadium guards were the real ‘heroes’ in this situation.

One thing is for sure, this A’s fan is done attending playoff games in 2013. He’s either going to be locked up or stuck paying huge fines for putting that cop in a chokehold.
