What a weekend it was to be a sports fan. The NFL hit the stretch run in week 14, College Football had its championship week and many players took to the basketball court and ice across the country as well. If you couldn't find something sports-related that you liked this weekend, maybe athletic competitions on TV aren't for you.

NFL week 14 in 2013 will always be remembered as a snow week. But unlike other snow weeks in NFL history, this one featured a record amount of points scored across the league. Who would have thought, but I guess it's just a sign of the times. Points are scored early and often in today's NFL. But lack of defense aside, some of the snow games were fantastic. Even though the Vikings are done this season, their game with the Ravens featured the craziest finish of the year.

As for the world of college football, what an incredible championship week it was. There were several upsets and the BCS standings were shaken up big time. However, in the end, the BCS Bowls benefited with many big name schools earning berths. The action on the field was as good as advertised as well. Some of the favored teams took care of business, while others came out and got punched right in the mouth.

So as with any sports weekend, there were a ton a great pictures taken. In the world of sports, pictures most certainly are worth 1,000 words. Sometimes they tell the whole story. You might not know one stat from a game, but you can take one look at picture snapped at the right time and you'll know exactly what went down. Here are the top 25 pictures from NFL week 14, college football championship week, the NBA and more:
