Top 25 Images From NFL Week 15 and the Weekend That Was In Sports
Top 25 Pictures From the Weekend That Was in Sports - December 13-15
The holiday season is upon us, which means that the NFL season is winding down. Believe it or not, there are only two weeks left in the regular season. The good news? There's still much to be decided and plenty of action on the field left for fans to enjoy.
On top of the great NFL season that's unfolding, there's also lots happening on the hardwood in both the NBA and college ranks. It seems like there's more buzz around basketball than there has been in a long time at this point in December. Many people don't care about the NBA until after the holidays. Some even joke that Christmas Day is the unofficial start to the season. As for college basketball, it's sometimes hard to really get in the swing of things until conference season starts, but not this year. With all the great young players on display, fans around the county are already very interested in college hoops.
As great as it is that basketball interest is up, we all know this time of year really belongs to football. College Bowl games are slated to start on Dec. 21st and the NFL playoffs are right around the corner at the start of 2014. From now until the end of the Super Bowl (first Sunday in February), football fans are going to be loving life each week (with the exception of Pro Bowl week).
As for the most recent weekend of sports, it was week 15 in the NFL, a non-conference weekend in college basketball and just another weekend in the association. In this slideshow we'll take a look at the top pictures from the weekend that was in sports. The cliche that a 'picture says 1,000 words' is most certainly true in the world of sports:
