25 Most Viral Women in the Sports World
It seems like every day there is a new viral video, photo or meme involving sports. Considering the way social media has grown over the years, it is nearly impossible for male and female athletes to escape their blunders. Along with that, it seems near impossible for those same athletes to do anything without their actions or activities getting thousands of views on the Internet.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the term viral is “quickly and widely spread or popularized especially by person-to-person electronic communication.” Basically, it means for something to get incredibly popular by traveling from one person to another, which typically occurs through the Internet.
The ensuing slideshow focuses specifically on the most viral women in the sports world. That means the women on the countdown don’t necessarily have to be an athlete. They can be a journalist, sideline reporter or a model that is frequently seen in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Sports anchors and journalists are just a much a part of the sports world as any athlete. The only difference is they cover the athlete’s actions in a contested sport. I understand that models might by stretching it. However, there is one model in particular that is very much involved in the sports world and it would be a crime to leave her off the list.
